Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon could be left on the sidelines if he fails to secure a move before the Turkish Super Lig transfer window closes.

According to GiveMeSport, Spurs are eager to offload the Spanish international, with interest reportedly coming from Fenerbahce.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has made it clear that Reguilon is not part of his plans at Spurs, with Destiny Udogie firmly established as the club’s first-choice left-back following impressive performances last season.

Reguilon has already been excluded from Tottenham’s matchday squad for the first three Premier League games this season, signalling that his future likely lies away from North London.

Reguilon joined Spurs in 2020 from Real Madrid for a €30 million fee and initially showed promise. However, he has since struggled to cement a regular starting position due to managerial changes and inconsistent form.

With time running out, a move to Fenerbahce could be the key to salvaging his career, offering him the playing time he needs.

Should a transfer fail to materialize, Reguilon may find himself frozen out of Tottenham’s squad until at least January when the winter transfer window opens.

As the window deadline looms, Reguilon’s chances of securing a move and regular playing time this season are hanging in the balance.

A move to Fenerbahce or another interested club could be the lifeline he needs to rejuvenate his career.
