Typical Dejan Kulusevski.
One minute - well, the 84th - he's scoring a magnificent goal to put the issue beyond any doubt against Ipswich Town at Portman Road - his 10th of the campaign.
The next, he's back on the edge of his own penalty area, fighting for possession, winning the ball back, clearing our lines - with 95 minutes on the clock.
Deki added another strike to his growing collection to make it 4-1 after a testing afternoon in Suffolk, cutting in from the right and pinging a low curler in off the post from the edge of the box. Celebrations in front of our fans said it all - this was another big win for us, our third on the spin in the Premier League with Brennan Johnson's first Spurs double and Djed Spence's first Premier League goal seeing us home.
Speaking about Deki's goal and sheer work rate afterwards on our Review Show, Ange told us: “He’s been unbelievable through this period. People forget he started the season on fire, he was unbelievable, but he's had to put in so many kilometres over the last two and a half months, him and Pedro, a couple of others, but no complaints, no excuses, he’s just kept grinding away.
"You can see when he's got the energy and gets a chance to recover game by game that the quality is there. He scored a cracking goal, worked hard for the team, so pleased for him.”
Ange also mentioned Deki when he was asked about a different mood in the camp with players returning from injury. He said: "It's a different feeling because the lads have got energy. They're recovering from games, they've got an opportunity to train. They see they've got support and help in terms of other players. Training's been really good the last two weeks, the first training sessions we've had for two and a half months, really.
"You saw Kulusevski today, people forget he was unbelievable at the start of the year. The poor guy's just been grinding it for two and a half months, without any excuse, without any complaints, he's just been going and going. You saw today he's got energy, he can run at people, scored a brilliant goal. For all players, I think it's not so much about the mood, it's about the mental state of having an opportunity now to be able to perform at the levels we want to perform, without the challenges we've had to face over the last two and a half months."
