Milan 'make contact with Villa over Cash'
AC Milan have reportedly made contact with Aston Villa over the potential signing of full-back Matty Cash.
There has been long-standing interest from Milan in the Poland international, who has failed to prove his fitness to join his country at Euro 2024.
According to The Athletic, Villa are seeking £30m for the right-back, which could prove an obstacle for Milan who do not tend to spend so much on one player under their current ownership.
The report adds that Villa would rather keep Cash but are aware of their profit and sustainability rules (PSR) requirements and must make a notable player sale before the deadline of June 30 for the 2023/24 reporting period to remain compliant.

Villa considering legal action against Premier League - reports
Aston Villa are considering legal action against the Premier League over its Profitability and Sustainability Rules, according to The Times.
Nassef Sawiris, Villa's owner, told the Financial Times the regulations are "not good for football" and "do not make sense".
The Premier League is already involved in an arbitration hearing this week after Manchester City brought legal action over Associated Party Transactions.
Villa have sided with City, who are owned by Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Mansour, in votes over the Premier League's financial rules in recent months.
Sawiris - who is Egyptian - is also moving his business interests from London to Abu Dhabi.
He said: "Some of the rules have actually resulted in cementing the status quo, more than creating upward mobility and fluidity in the sport.
"The rules do not make sense and are not good for football.
"Managing a sports team has become more like being a treasurer or a bean counter, rather than looking at what your team needs.
"It's more about creating paper profits, not real profits. It becomes a financial game, not a sporting game."

Arsenal have been told they will need to spend £50m to sign Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The 26-year-old, who is also attracting interest from Juventus and AC Milan, has established himself as a key part of Villa's midfield under Unai Emery and was a standout performer this season with 10 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
Having secured qualification for next season's Champions League, Villa's finances have been boosted but the club might need to offset new signings by player sales to comply with the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules.
