Tottenham Hotspur are competing in four competitions this season, and the Carabao Cup represents a solid chance of some silverware for the Lilywhites. Here are all the details regarding the third-round draw.

The League Cup is the last trophy Spurs won, over 16 years ago now in 2008. They went close again in 2021, but failed to defeat Manchester City in the final.

After crashing out on penalties to Fulham last season, Ange Postecoglou will be keen to go a lot further this year.

When’s the Carabao Cup third-round draw?

The draw takes place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

It will be drawn after the second round ties on the night, and will be held at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground. The stadium is hosting a game between Forest and Newcastle that night.

What teams are in it?

When are the games?

In another change to the competition, third-round ties will be played on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the weeks commencing September 16 and September 23.

Spreading these games across a fortnight again helps ease fixture congestion. So, Tottenham could play on September 17/18 or September 24/25.
