According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing interest in Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min.
The Turkish champions are reportedly keen to bring in a left sided forward during the next transfer window and have identified the South Korea international.
Fanatik have reported on Galatasaray’s surprise pursuit for Son and they say the Istanbul side are ready to roll up their sleeves for an effort to sign the player. It’s claimed Cimbom are hoping that they can enter into preliminary transfer talks with the Tottenham star in the near future.
With the departure of Kerem Aktürkoğlu to Benfica in the summer and Wilfried Zaha being loaned out to Lyon, Galatasaray want to bolster their options in the wide attacking areas when the window opens in the new year.
Son’s contract with Tottenham expires in the summer, but the Premier League side have the option to extend this for another season. There have been reports Son is unhappy about this situation and would rather be offered a long-term deal by Spurs.
Son has made 11 appearances for the London club this season, scoring three goals.
