Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma has been linked for the move away from the club, and Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on securing his signature.
According to a report from Give Me Sport, Tottenham are prepared to let the player move on in the summer. Although there is no doubt that the former Brighton midfielder has shown his quality in the Premier League, he can be quite inconsistent, and he has had his fair share of injury problems as well.
Tottenham could certainly use a more reliable defensive midfielder, and it will be interesting to see if they can replace the Mali international adequately.
Crystal Palace need more quality in the side and Bissouma would be a superb acquisition. He is a proven performer in the Premier League, and he could make an instant impact at Selhurst Park.
His teammate James Maddison described him as a “ridiculous” player earlier this season.
Meanwhile, OGC Nice and Marseille are keen on the player as well and he would be open to a move to Ligue 1. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops, and where the player ends up.
Crystal Palace are expected to follow up on their interest with an enquiry for the midfielder soon. It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official offer to sign the player. Tottenham paid £25 million for the midfielder when they signed him from Brighton, and they will probably look to make a profit if they are to sell him.
The 28-year-old midfielder will look to sort out his future quickly and focus on his football. He needs to join a club where he will play regularly, and the likes of Crystal Palace could be the ideal destination.
