A fresh report has provided the latest on Tottenham’s managerial search, with the North London club’s hierarchy thought to have discussed a potential move for a Premier League manager ahead of the summer.

Those who have been following Spurs Web’s coverage will be aware that Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva, and Thomas Frank are among the names on Tottenham’s wishlist to replace Ange Postecoglou.

However, over recent days, we have seen reports that Iraola is now leaning towards remaining at Bournemouth for one more season, which comes as a blow to the Lilywhites.

Meanwhile, it has also been claimed by a few sources that Fulham are not willing to let Silva go without a fight, with the Cottagers looking to tie him down to a new contract.

Tottenham have held conversations over Thomas Frank

GiveMeSport now provide the latest on Spurs’ pursuit of Thomas Frank as the club start doing groundwork on potential candidates to replace Ange Postecoglou in the summer.

The outlet says that Frank’s vast experience in the Premier League is a huge tick in his favour as the Lilywhites assess their options.

In fact, it is said that Daniel Levy and other influential figures at Tottenham have discussed the Brentford boss’s name behind the scenes as they contemplate whether to make a move for him.

The publication points out that Frank has a £9m release clause in his contract at the Gtech Community Stadium, meaning that the Bees would not be able to stop the 51-year-old from leaving if Spurs up the ante.

However, with Ange Postecoglou leading Tottenham to a Europa League semi-final, one would expect Levy to stick with the Australian now, at least until the end of the season.

Tottenham have changed their mind about Oliver Glasner

While Iraola, Silva and Frank have been the names most regularly linked with a Tottenham job, another Premier League manager’s name has now cropped up in a number of reports over the last few days.

It has been claimed by several sources that Spurs are now considering a move for Oliver Glasner after previously overlooking him in 2023.
