Jamie O’Hara has said that there is one thing that Daniel Levy cannot even consider doing after Tottenham fell to their 18th defeat of the Premier League season to Nottingham Forest on Monday.

The unwanted records are now piling up for Ange Postecoglou. Following the loss to Forest, Tottenham have now lost more games this season than any other 38-game campaign.

Spurs fans would have hoped that progression to the semifinals of the Europa League would have galvanised the side, but yet, it was more of the same from the Lilywhites, who have barely shown any sign of improvement despite the return of key players from injury.

Ange Postecoglou insisted that Tottenham played well against Forest, but that will mean nothing to the supporters, who have watched their side throw results away consistently this season.

Jamie O’Hara warns Daniel Levy not to take drastic action

According to various reports, Postecoglou is likely to be sacked at the end of the season no matter what happens in the Europa League.

However, Jamie O’Hara has insisted that Levy should not even consider sacking the Australian before the semifinal against Bodo/Glimt, insisting that the Spurs boss has earned the shot to lead the side into the clash.

When a Tottenham fan who called in suggested that Postecoglou should be sacked immediately, O’Hara told talkSPORT: “Come on, mate, you can’t have Ryan Mason taking the semi-final. You can’t, mate. Come on, do me a favour. What are you talking about? You can’t do that.

“He (Postecoglou) has got the semi-final, you’ve got to give him the semi-final. I know it’s painful and I know it’s unacceptable, but you can’t sack him now. There’s no point, it’s pointless. See if he can get through the semi-final.”

Former Tottenham man accuses fans of disrespecting Ange Postecoglou

The frustrations of Tottenham fans are palpable on social media, with many already at the end of their patience.

However, Ramon Vega blasted some Spurs fans for disrespecting Postecoglou, urging them to stop talking about the Australian’s potential replacements.
