Tottenham Hotspur fans might have another reason to be hopeful ahead of their clash with Chelsea, as Dejan Kulusevski has once again dropped a cryptic hint about his fitness.

Tottenham Hotspur have received a few boosts on the injury front heading into their meeting with Chelsea on Thursday.

Richarlison was spotted back in training in Spurs’ latest official footage, a welcome sight given his absence. Lucas Bergvall had been a doubt due to illness that ruled him out of Sweden’s international fixtures, was also seen in training, suggesting he’s in contention for selection.

Dejan Kulusevski, however, was nowhere to be seen in the released Tottenham training clips. Yet, despite that, he has once again hinted at a possible return with an Instagram story.

Dejan Kulusevski’s latest Instagram teases a potential Chelsea return

Kulusevski has stuck to his cryptic theme on Instagram, this time sharing a picture of himself on his balcony—crucially, without a protective boot on his foot.

This image is eerily similar to the one he posted before Tottenham’s first-leg clash against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League, where Kulusevski all but confirmed his foot injury.

The key difference? No protective boot this time, hinting that he might just be fit enough for Thursday.

Could Dejan Kulusevski make a comeback against Chelsea?

The Swedish winger hasn’t played for Spurs or his national team in over two weeks, with his foot injury ruling him out of action.

Interestingly, Kulusevski also teased a potential return just yesterday ahead of the Chelsea clash, posting an image with the caption: “Coming to a show near u. DK tha truth 2.0.”

Ange Postecoglou mentioned some injured players would return after the international break, and with Kulusevski’s recent social media activity, the signs are certainly pointing in that direction.

Whether he’ll be fit enough to be part of the squad remains to be seen, but his latest post suggests he’s edging closer to a return.
