Jaden Williams and Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny have been nominated for March’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The pair combined to devastating effect in last month's standout 4-0 home triumph over Blackburn Rovers, a game in which striker Williams netted an impressive hat-trick with all three assists coming from 18-year-old Russell-Denny who has adjusted superbly since his recent arrival from Chelsea in February.
Also in the running for the award are Middlesbrough's Shea Connor, Blackburn's Nicholas Michalski, Crystal Palace's Hindolo Mustapha, Newcastle United's Sean Neave, Michal Rosiak of Arsenal and Emre Tezgel of Stoke City.
The nominees were selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel after club coaches proposed the best performances by opposing players throughout last month. The panel will also decide the winner, who will be revealed in due course.
