Every Tottenham Hotspur Player's Wage [2025]

Much has been made of Tottenham Hotspur’s trophy curse in recent times. It’s no secret that the club from the white half of north London has never won the Premier League, but it is incredible that they last tasted glory in 2007, under Juande Ramos, when they beat fellow capital club Chelsea 2-1 in the League Cup.

But it cannot be said that their boardroom bosses – spearheaded by their much-maligned owner, Daniel Levy – have not splashed the cash over the years on a) transfer fees and b) weekly wages. It’s just their investment has failed to pay dividends when you take in their lack of silverware over the years.

Now under the watchful eye of Ange Postecoglou, who has claimed that he always wins trophies in his second season, they’ll be hoping to buck the ever-growing trend with the help of the several new arrivals who all bank big money. Here is how much everyone in Tottenham’s senior squad is making throughout this campaign.

Goalkeepers

Forster and Vicario both earn £75,000-per-week

Guglielmo Vicario, upon signing for Tottenham in the summer of 2023 from Italian side Empoli, had the onerous task of filling Hugo Lloris’ boots and has been a reliable figure in Postecoglou’s quest for silverware in the English capital. A four-cap Italy international, the imposing glove bearer has been a welcome addition.

Udine-born Vicario, despite being the club’s number one option between the sticks, earns much less than plenty of his teammates in north London (more on that to come) but he still takes home a healthy £75,000-per-week. Elsewhere, the wage of January addition Antonin Kinsky remains unknown.

Also earning £75,000 on a weekly basis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is Spurs’ second fiddle, Fraser Forster. Albeit experienced at the highest level of English football, the 36-year-old has flattered to deceive in Vicario’s absence and, on the back of his ponderous displays, his days at the club are surely numbered.

Tottenham also boast both Alfie Whiteman and Brandon Austin, both 26 years of age, in their goalkeeping department, with both being depended on when push comes to shove. The former earns £15,000-per-week while the latter earns half his fellow coutryman’s wage.

Defenders

Micky van de Ven among Tottenham's lowest earners in defence

Cristian Romero is often lambasted for his crunching tackles and lack of control, but the Argentine, revered as one of the most expensive centre-backs in football history, has become an ever-reliable presence in the heart of Tottenham’s back line since joining.

Incredibly, especially when compared to some of his defensive teammates, one of the best Premier League centre-backs in Micky van de Ven lines his pockets with £50,000-per-week – the same wage packet as Djed Spence, who has typically been a bench warmer under Postecoglou’s stewardship.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Van de Ven has registered the quickest speed of any Premier League player in 2024/25, having clocked 37.12 km/h against Manchester United.

In the full-back positions, Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie make £85,000 and £75,000-per-week, respectively, while the seasoned Ben Davies – albeit not a starter this season when everyone is fit – earns smack bang in the middle of those two figures.

Radu Dragusin has flattered to deceive since joining from Genoa but, by virtue of him signing on the dotted line in the summer, is one of Tottenham’s highest earners in defence - £85,000-per-week. He earns much more than Sergio Reguilon, who pockets a healthy £53,000 every week.

Midfielders

Maddison earns £100,000 more than his midfield teammates

Neither is the talent of Rodrigo Bentancur. Formerly a key cog in Juventus’ engine room, the Uruguayan (when fit) provides Postecoglou and co plenty of control in the middle of the park and gets paid handsomely - £75,000-per-week – for doing it.

Real Madrid-linked Archie Gray has been unable to play his favoured position – central midfield – as much as expected thanks to injuries, but his maturity has endeared him to the club’s faithful following. He earns £75,000-per-week.

That’s £5,000 more than that of 24-cap Senegal international Pape Matar Sarr, who has featured in every Premier League outing of the season thus far. Gray’s weekly take home is also £20,000 more than what midfielder Yves Bissouma earns.

The future of the north Londoners’ engine room, Lucas Bergvall, has perhaps played more than expected since completing his high-profile move in the summer of 2024. Equally progressive as he is combative, fans are yet to see the £15,000-per-week earner in full flight given he's still in his bedding-in period.

Forwards

Captain Son is Spurs' highest earning player on £190,000-per-week

Probably as expected, Tottenham captain Son Heung-min – who is regarded as one of the best wingers in England’s top flight – earns the most out of his teammates by taking home £190,000 on a week-by-week basis. Given the experience he brings, it’s little surprise that he’s the club’s highest earner.

Timo Werner and Dejan Kulusevski, widely viewed as one of the best players to be born in 2000, are also among Tottenham’s highest earners. The former may not be considered a starter under the current management, but he still earns a £165,000 every week.

The latter, on the other hand, is in the form of his life and the club will be looking to extend his contract – upping his take home in the process – sooner rather than later to fend off potential suitors. At the time of writing, the Swede is contracted until 2028.

Upon Harry Kane leaving to the lure of Bayern Munich, Tottenham’s attacking unit wage bill was given a massive boost – and much of the financial gain was spent on getting Dominic Solanke, formerly of Bournemouth, through the door.

The England talisman has settled well into life in the north of the capital – scoring against Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa and the like – and is earning £90,000-per-week by doing what he does best: hitting the back of the net like it's going out of fashion.

Richarlison, who is currently sitting in Postecoglou’s peripheral thinking, earns the same as the three-cap England international, while Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert are not paid as handsomely with them taking home £70,000 and £25,000-per-week, respectively.
