Tottenham are reportedly expected to wrap four of their senior men in cotton wool for the clash against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Ange Postecoglou set to ring the changes for the Southampton game on Sunday.

Given the position that Tottenham Hotspur find themselves in the league table at the moment, the remaining Premier League matches are of very little consequence for the club, whose attention will shift to the Europa League.

Eintracht Frankfurt visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first leg of the quarterfinal next Thursday, and Postecoglou will want to ensure that his key men are sharp for the fixture.

It has now been predicted that the Lilywhites will make some big changes to the side, with one Spurs defender expected to be given time to recover from illness.

Tottenham could be boosted by the return of forward

Radu Dragusin, Kevin Danso and Dejan Kulusevski remain sidelined for Ange Postecoglou’s side, but it was reported a couple of days ago that Richarlison is on the verge of returning to action.

That particular update claimed that the is expected to be available for the first leg of the quarterfinal against Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, this latest report from The Standard says that Richarlison is in line to be part of Tottenham’s matchday squad against Southampton, although he may not be ready to start.
