Indeed, Spurs their Europa League last-16 clash around, beating AZ Alkmaar 3-1 at home to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg and progress into the quarter-finals of the competition. While their League form remains hugely disappointing, it at least kept Tottenham’s season alive.
