Gary Neville has warned Tottenham that after Dejan Kulusevski's stunning performance against Manchester City that Europe's top clubs will be looking to sign him.
The Swedish star was yet again in fine form at the Etihad Stadium, setting up James Maddison's opening goal with a superb cross to the back post, before playing a key role in the third goal, breaking before finding Dominic Solanke, who laid the ball off for Pedro Porro to sweep home.
Kulusevski scored a 9/10 in football.london'splayer ratings for the game, making a big impression throughout the game: "On the right wing and he hit a sublime pass into the path of Maddison for the opening goal. Was then involved in Spurs' third goal early in the second half with a ball across to Solanke. Forced Ederson into a save with a second half run and shot. He just loves to play at this stadium."
However, his impressive performances this season may come at a cost, according to Gary Neville. The former Manchester United defender was effusive in his praise for the 24-year-old, but said the way he has grown as a player this season will alert some of Europe's biggest clubs about a potential transfer for the Spurs star.
"He was brilliant. He was as good as James Maddison. Kulusevski was special out there," Neville said on Sky Sports after the game. "The way he ran past players, with his quality and strength, it was an absolutely fantastic performance.
"Kulusevski was and looks a serious player. He has become a hell of a player. His strength and running power is getting better, but he has a subtlety in beating players. He has a variation to his game now. He is a different player now.
"This is a player that the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid begin to look at. I am not being disrespectful to Spurs, but that was the level of his performance and he has been like that for a while now. He was outstanding."
