Tottenham Hotspur might be preparing to part ways with their striker Richarlison this summer.

Spurs have been actively searching for a replacement for the Brazilian international in the current transfer window.

According to Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, the Lilywhites are open to listening to offers for Richarlison.

The 27-year-old joined Tottenham from Everton in July 2022 for a significant fee of €58 million but has struggled to live up to his hefty price tag.

Despite showing his quality in a few stretches of the season, Richarlison’s time in North London has been plagued by injuries.

These injuries caused him to miss 10 games last season, and even when fit, he often failed to make the expected impact given the quality of players around him.

Last season, Richarlison scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 28 Premier League appearances.

Although he improved from his previous season’s subpar display, where he scored only one goal in 27 appearances, he has not been convincing overall.

Richarlison’s injury problems and inconsistent form have led Spurs to consider selling him if a substantial offer comes in.

The club aims to free up funds for a significant transfer in this transfer window, specially with interest from clubs like Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal, who have been monitoring the Brazilian.

Richarlison’s contract with the Lilywhites runs until June 2027, but the club is willing to entertain offers that match their initial investment.

As Tottenham plan for the next season, they might look to sign a striker to replace Richarlison and bolster their attacking options.
