Dele Alli reunited with his former Tottenham Hotspur team-mates Harry Kane and Eric Dier ahead of the duo's Champions League quarter-final clash against Inter Milan this week.

The trio spent several years together at Spurs, most notably under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino between 2014 and 2019 as the North Londoners reached the Champions League final.

But after failing to find his best form under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte, Dele left Spurs in January 2022 to sign for Everton.

However, the midfielder was unable to find his feet at Goodison Park either and after a loan spell at Besiktas, he joined Serie A outfit Como earlier this year.

Kane and Dier, meanwhile, left Tottenham to join Bayern Munich in the 2023/24 season after more than a decade in the first team.

Dele celebrated the trio's reunion on Tuesday night by writing on Instagram: "Good to catch up with my brothers today! Good luck tomorrow, mandem."

Bayern Munich are in Italy ahead of Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Inter Milan, with the Bundesliga side needing to overturn last week's 2-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena if they are to progress to the semi-finals of the competition for the second consecutive season.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday's match, Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany said: "There's an anticipation for this match, it feels proper. It doesn't get much better. The most important thing is that we deliver our best performance.

"We have to be there in the key moments, defend well and score the goals up front. The belief is there, at the end of the day we just need to win one match.

"We always play to win. Hopefully we can experience a very special night, also for our fans."

Six-time winners Bayern Munich could face Arsenal in the final at the Allianz Arena on May 31.
