Manchester City comes off a much-needed two-week break to find its footing again in Premier League play. Overall, City has lost four straight matches, including twice in the Premier League to Brighton & Hove Albion (2-1) on Nov. 9 and AFC Bournemouth (2-1) on Nov. 2. Still, ManCity is holding steady in second place in the current Premier League standings behind only Liverpool (9-1-1, 28 points).

Tottenham was among the four teams to beat Manchester City consecutively, theirs also a 2-1 match in the Carabao Cup fourth round. Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr found the back of the net in the 5th and 25th minutes, respectively, in that effort.
