Tottenham have been linked with a move for Spain hero Nico Williams and Jamie O’Hara has backed the club to sign him.
The Spanish winger has been one of the most promising young players in the world and proved his talent on the big stage in the Euros.
The former Spurs midfielder has now admitted that he would love for the club to sign Williams.
When asked by a fan on talkSPORT about rumours about Nico Williams coming to Spurs, he said:
“Yeah, I would love him, of course. A brilliant player.”
The 22-year-old winger was also selected for the Euros’ Team of the Tournament, scoring two crucial goals and providing an assist in the competition.
Williams had an outstanding campaign with Bilbao last season, scoring eight goals and providing 19 assists in 37 appearances.
He significantly contributed to the club’s Copa del Rey triumph and fifth-place finish in La Liga. (Transfermarkt)
