Tottenham have expressed an interest in signing PSV Eindhoven star Malik Tillman
Malik Tillman’s list of admirers is growing day by day and one can understand why, with the PSV Eindhoven star having been one of the stand-out players in the Eredivisie this season.
The versatile attacking midfielder has scored eight goals and supplied four assists in 20 games across all competitions—including five goal contributions in as many Champions League nights for PSV Eindhoven—showcasing that he can make an impact on the biggest stage.
As per recent reports, Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle Aston Villa for the signing of Malik Tillman in January.
This follows after Football London correspondent Alasdair Gold revealed that Ange Postecoglou would love to sign a creative midfielder during the January transfer window if the opportunity arises. And the Lilywhites have set their sights on Tillman and why won’t they?

With 15 goals and 19 assists in just over 50 matches for PSV, the USA international is one of the highly-rated players in the Eredivisie. The 22-year-old’s knack for creating chances, linking plays and deciding matches places him in a league of his own, especially at his age. He can create and score goals at an equal measure, and Tillman is exactly someone needed at Spurs.
John Wenham—the owner of reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose—expects Spurs-linked Tillman to be extensively scouted by European clubs this season. He could see the North London giants making a move for the PSV ace in 2025.
Tillman has found a home in PSV Eindhoven after failing to make the grade at Bayern, who aware of his potential managed to smartly insert a £30 million buy back and a sell-on clause. After being quite a nomad at such an early age, he could be excited to play in the Premier League and prove himself in arguably the best league in the world.
-> Opinion: Do Tottenham need to sell Pape Matar Sarr before getting Malik Tillman?
The German-born American recently scored a brace in PSV’s exciting 3-2 home win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, further enhancing his reputation as one of the most in-form attackers in the content. Spurs adding Tillman to the mix would be brilliant as he’d be a great option to unlock rigid defences.
