Latest from Sky Sports News' Tim Thornton:
Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips is of interest to several Premier League clubs this summer.
The midfielder, who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham, also been interest from abroad.
Contrary to reports elsewhere, Sky Sports News understands Galatasaray are not currently on the list of options he has.
Sky Sports News reported earlier in the summer that Everton are one of the clubs looking at him.
Phillips is open-minded about his future and but there have been no firm developments yet.
Phillips has worked hard throughout the summer to get himself in the best possible shape and has been focusing on his form and fitness during City’s pre-season of the US, where he has impressed as a central defender.
Manager Pep Guardiola explained why he played there during the tour but admitted: “I do not know what is going to happen with his situation.”
He said on July 31: “He was really good for the problems we had. I know Kalvin when he gets the ball and can see all the pitch in front of him he's a really good player. When he has the small spaces there are more problems.
"That's why, with the problems we have, he makes an incredible effort with his position. He was confident with the ball and helps us a lot. I'm really pleased with his performance.
"When we have all our central defenders, we have a lot of central defenders. That's why it's not his position. We will see. Now he's helping us and it's good for us.”

New Manchester City signing Savinho has vowed to write his own chapter in the history of the club.
The 20-year-old Brazil winger was signed from Troyes on a five-year deal after his starring role on loan at Girona last season, where he helped the Spanish side qualify for the Champions League.
Savinho revealed that as a youngster he idolised former City favourite Riyad Mahrez and has chosen to take the Algerian's No 26 shirt at the Etihad.
"I'm really happy and honoured to be here," he said. "I can't wait to put the shirt on, get on the pitch and show you what I can do.
"I can see myself as part of this group and I will play my best football for Manchester City.
"What I want is to work really hard with the coaches and my team-mates so I can develop.
"It's a new page in history and I'm delighted to play in the Champions League with Manchester City. I want to drive on from what I achieved with Girona last season.
"Mahrez was a role model for me ever since I watched him as a child. There are similarities to our games. He's written history here but Mahrez is Mahrez, Savinho is Savinho. Now it's my turn to make my history here."
Pep Guardiola has refused to be drawn on Atletico Madrid's talks with Manchester City over signing Julian Alvarez.
The deal currently being proposed by the Spanish side is understood to be in the region of €55million (£46.8m) with add-ons pushing the total cost to €70m (£59m). However, this falls far short of City's valuation of the forward.
Alvarez is in Paris competing at the Olympics with Argentina.
When asked about developments after the club's 4-2 victory over Chelsea in Ohio, Guardiola said: "Nothing to say. He's our player and he's coming back soon.
"When he comes back I'll hug him and congratulate him on the Copa America and we'll talk about the Olympics."
Alvarez revealed he will make a decision over his future when the Games are over. "There is a lot of talk," he said.
"I am focused here because it is a short tournament. At Manchester City I feel very good, I played a lot of minutes. But we will see after the Games. First, if I can, I will take a few days off. Then we will decide."
Pep Guardiola insists he is committed to Manchester City as England continue their search for a new manager.
The Football Association is recruiting for Gareth Southgate’s successor after he stepped down following last month’s Euro 2024 final defeat by Spain.
The August 2 deadline for applications has now passed with Guardiola insisting he is happy at Premier League champions City with a season left to run on his contract.
Guardiola told reporters during City’s pre-season tour of the United States: “I am here, I am really pleased. I cannot say anything. I don’t know where it has come from. I am really satisfied here.
“I am desperate for when the players are ready to come back to start to train all together and refresh what we have to do.”
Guardiola’s comments come at the end of a week that saw two other high profile candidates to replace Southgate distance themselves from the England job.
Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe stated that he has not received any official contact from the FA while former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ruled himself out of contention.
Howe has been one of the bookmakers’ favourites for the role, with England U21 manager Lee Carsley and former Chelsea and Brighton coach Graham Potter also leading contenders.
It was reported that the FA would consider an interim option if it meant Guardiola would take charge of England once his City contract expires next summer.
Julian Alvarez has denied saying "anything bad" about his Man City future after Pep Guardiola said his prospects will be discussed after the end of the Olympics.
The 24-year-old previously admitted he would "see what comes next" after the Olympics is finished.
Guardiola said on Tuesday that "he wants to play in important moments, but the other players [want that] too" and said he would speak to Alvarez's agent upon his return.
Speaking following Argentina's Olympic win over Ukraine, Alvarez told TyC Sports: "I never said anything bad. I just said that I was going to think about it like I do every season to make an analysis of what happened last season, a projection of what may come.
"I always say that I am comfortable and happy at City, which is a great club. I didn't say anything bad."
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has cast further doubt over his future at the Premier League champions by admitting no decision has been made on his whereabouts come the end of the summer transfer window.
Sky Sports reported this week that Al Ittihad are the latest of two Saudi Arabian clubs interested in signing the Brazil international.
Nothing formal has yet been submitted by Al Ittihad, but there is an expectation that a bid is on the way. Al Nassr are actually the only club to have made a formal offer for Ederson this summer.
It was rejected because it was well below City’s valuation. Al Nassr then moved on to sign another Brazilian goalkeeper instead – the 25-year-old Bento from Atletico Paranaense.
Pep Guardiola has already expressed his desire to keep Ederson at the club.
When asked about his City future, the 30-year-old said: "There isn’t a decision yet. To hear Pep saying that was very gratifying. It’s now my eighth season with him living many good moments, also some bad ones. He’s a guy who is easy to work with, he’s a football genius and everyone knows that. So it’s really good to hear that from him.
“I’m happy here, having a good moment with my team-mates, I’m enjoying as well to get my fitness back on track. I’m very calm, whatever happens is in God’s hands and he knows the right way to go. Whatever he gives me I’ll be happy with.”
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola again addressed ongoing speculation over goalkeeper Ederson, who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in recent months.
A sense of uncertainty had been suggested by Guardiola on Wednesday when he reflected on the situation of the 30-year old Brazil international, who has two years left to run on his contract.
However, the City boss was more forthcoming about the future of his first-choice goalkeeper two days later.
Guardiola added: "I wish with the bottom of my heart Eddie will continue with us.
"I would love him to stay. I cannot imagine our processes succeeding these last seasons without him. He is an important figure in the locker room."
