Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a ‘surprise‘ move for Arsenal shot stopper Karl Hein as the Lilywhites look to revamp their goalkeeping department with a move that would receive headline mentions around Europe.
The highly rated goalie has been on loan at La Liga side Real Valladolid, where he has been highly impressing, which has got the likes of Spurs and Chelsea interested in his services. The 22-year-old is on Arsenal books, and the Gunners would be prepared to let the player leave for the right price in the 2025 transfer intervals.
Tottenham linked with Arsenal keeper Hein
Looking to take advantage of his availability, Premier League heavyweights Manchester United are willing to make a move for Karl Hein, per Fichajes. The report further goes on to state that the player would be available for a €20–25 million fee, something that both Tottenham and Manchester Reds are ‘willing to invest.’ However, that being said, it is to be seen if Spurs can match the competition for Hein’s signature and win the race given that the Estonian is associated with Arsenal.
The Lilywhites have been looking to sign a new backup goalkeeper, and given how the current number one, Vicario, has been having his fair share of problems in between the sticks, signing in someone who can not only compete but also someone who can take over from the Italian international. And meanwhile, the 22-year-old has been impressing massively in the Spanish top tier, and he would certainly want to dislodging Vicario from the starting lineup if he were to move to White Hart Lane.
