Leeds United completed the signing of Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening and the Israeli winger has been speaking to the club’s media.
Solomon becomes Leeds‘ sixth summer signing but unlikely to be the last as The Whites frantically look to add to Daniel Farke’s squad in the final few days of the window, with Farke keen on two more players.
Indeed, Farke said after the loss of Georginio Rutter that he wanted replacement for Rutter and Crysencio Summerville as well as a new goalscoring midfielder and a full-back to provide more cover at Leeds.
Solomon and Largie Ramazani have been signed as replacements for Summerville and Rutter and focus has switched to a new midfielder, and a full-back. Owen Wijndal and Gustavo Hamer are being linked.
Solomon shares something everyone knows about Leeds
It is seen as a coup to be able to sign a player that has a league winner’s medal from Ukraine after his time at Shakhtar Donetsk as well as Premier League and Champions League experience in his career.
He joins on a dry loan after a difficult first season at Spurs in which he played six times before tearing his meniscus. But he is fit again and Solomon told LUTV what everyone in football knows about The Whites.
“I know that Leeds is a big club and their goal, their place is in the Premier League. There’s no doubt about it. In England, everyone knows it. I’m looking forward to playing and trying to win every game.”

What Archie Gray told Solomon about Leeds ahead of move
In the same interview, Solomon also shared how he spoke to Tottenham star and Leeds academy product Archie Gray about joining Leeds as well as former Fulham teammate Dan James, before a move to Leeds.
He says that Gray and James had nothing but “great things” to say about Leeds under the guidance of manager Farke. Solomon’s arrival will certainly boost Leeds’ chances of promotion to the Premier League.
“Yeah, I spoke with Archie a bit and he told me some great things about the club. I also saw DJ and he also told me some good things about the club so yeah, all of the opinions I got is that it is a great club.”
