Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has not travelled to Germany ahead of Spurs' Europa League quarter-final second leg clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Son missed the weekend's 4-2 loss to Wolves in the Premier League and will again be absent on Thursday night. Postecoglou confirmed on Wednesday that the South Korean has been suffering with a foot injury in recent weeks.
The Australian said: "Sonny didn't travel and he's the only one who hasn't travelled. He's been struggling with his foot for a couple of weeks now and has been in pain. Everyone else is good. Kevin [Danso] trained and is available."
Danso has not made an appearance since the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in early March but his return is a huge boost to Postecoglou. Danso has been suffering with a hamstring injury but now looks set to be named in the squad to face Frankfurt on Thursday evening.
At Molineux on Sunday, Postecoglou revealed that Son had a knock on his foot and there was no point in him travelling with such a big game on the agenda, with the Australian then confirming after the game that his experienced attacker should be fine for Thursday.
