Heung-min Son’s latest social media post gives Spurs fans hope that the forward could be fit to face West Ham.
Son’s injury has cost Spurs
Son picked up a hamstring injury in Tottenham’s win over Qarabag, with the South Korean subsequently missing out on the next three games against Manchester United, Ferencvaros and Brighton.
With Ange Postecoglou already without the services of Wilson Odobert and Richarlison, he has had to persist with Timo Werner on the left, with the German not covering himself in glory in the final third.
The Australian will thus be desperate to have his captain back fit and he has now received a promising update on that front.
Son’s message to Spurs fans
Tottenham will be keen to get back to winning ways in the big London derby against West Ham on Saturday following the harrowing defeat against Brighton.
Postecoglou will want to see a response from his players after their poor second-half showing against the Seagulls, and based on Son’s latest social media post, it looks like he might be boosted by the return of the South Korean.
The 32-year-old has taken to social media to post an image of himself overlooking training pitches with the simple message: “Back soon”.

Things looking positive
With Son staying back at Hotspur Way during the international break, he would have had two full weeks to get up to speed ahead of the clash against the Hammers.
Tottenham fans will also take confidence from the fact that Postecoglou suggested ahead of the clash against Brighton that the forward was ‘pushing hard’ to be fit for that game.
