Sky Sports News' Keith Downie at St James' Park:
"Murphy denied again by the Wolves keeper. What a start both players have had. Newcastle getting a lot of success down that side where Ait-Nouri has pushed up…"
There was a card waved in the direction of the Wolves bench, but unsure who for.
Wolves then attempt to break down the other end, but it ends with Guedes on the deck after a collision of legs with Burn.
He beats Ait Nouri down the right-hand side of the box and gets his shot away, but Sa pushes it to safety.
Newcastle just kicking up a gear in the last few minutes.
Sky Sports News' Keith Downie at St James' Park:
"Ait-Nouri is giving Newcastle all sorts of problems down the left. He’s almost like an additional striker despite a starting position of wing-back. Newcastle having to be very careful with him.
Sky Sports' Adam Bate:
"Murphy to Isak is the most common goal combination in the Premier League this season (five goals) and there is enough evidence early on to suggest they could add to that total tonight."
The third time in the opening 20 minutes that Newcastle have been flagged...
Murphy plays in a low, right-wing cross for Isak, but Sa gets down low to push the ball away with his feet.
The flag then rightly goes up so any goal would've been ruled out anyway.
Hwang sends in the cross from the left wing and he finds Guedes. But he just drags his shot past the post.
Hwang wants a corner after and is having words with the referee, but it's a Newcastle kick.
Sky Sports News' Keith Downie at St James' Park:
"Really good from Jacob Murphy. He’s been a real bonus to Eddie Howe in recent weeks and full of confidence. Sa with a top save to deny the direct winger."
A somewhat even start at St James' Park with Newcastle just shading things.
He trots along the top of the box before getting his shot away, but the goalkeeper is level to it.
Sky Sports' Adam Bate:
"I was at Old Trafford recently where Newcastle steamrollered a Manchester United side playing the same formation that Wolves are playing here. That advantage in midfield was key that day. Interesting to see how it plays out this time."
