Ange Postecoglou has made two changes to his Tottenham side to face AZ in Alkmaar in the Europa League round of 16 first leg on Thursday evening.

The Spurs boss has got Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Dominic Solanke all back from injury and available for this game even though he lost Dejan Kulusevski to a foot injury which will keep him out until after the international break. All three returnees are on a very strong bench to be used during the encounter in the Netherlands.

Postecoglou continues with Mathys Tel up front with Brennan Johnson and Son Heung-min on either side and the midfield remains as Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison. Djed Spence comes in for Pedro Porro at right-back with Destiny Udogie playing again down the left while Kevin Danso and Archie Gray play together again in the centre of defence.

Here's the team that Postecoglou has selected on Thursday evening:

Vicario, Spence, Gray, Danso, Udogie, Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison, Johnson, Tel, Son (c). Subs: Austin, Whiteman, Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Sarr, Bissouma, Moore, Odobert, Scarlett, Solanke.
