Manchester United have no fresh injury concerns ahead of facing Spurs on Sunday. Defensive quartet Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Victor Lindelof and Leny Yoro are yet to recover from their respective issues, though Ten Hag provided a positive update on the fitness of summer signing Yoro. The Frenchman has returned to the club’s training ground this week as he steps up his recovery from a broken foot.
“Yes, he is doing very well,” Ten Hag told MUTV.
“It is very pleasing that his rehab is going in the right direction and I expect him soon, but what I mean by soon, is that he is now in the right planning process.
“He is in the right spot and he will return as soon as possible into the squad and then the team training.”
Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount returned to action during the draw with FC Twente on Thursday. The former’s return will be welcome after United’s failure to break down then Dutch side or Crystal Palace in recent weeks.
