Tottenham Hotspur are apparently convinced that a potential £35 million Premier League forward is "sold" on joining Ange Postecoglou's side this summer, following behind-the-scenes talks with his camp.
Johan Lange making summer transfer plans at Tottenham
Technical director Johan Lange could orchestrate another summer rebuild at Spurs, with the squad potentially set to look very different by the start of 2025/2026.
This appears especially true in the forward department, as Timo Werner is widely expected to make a return to parent club RB Leipzig at the end of this season, while Tottenham are reportedly open to offers for Richarlison.
The Lilywhites, like many other Premier League sides, hold an interest in Flamengo right-back Wesley Franca defensively, among other key names, while journalist Pete O'Rourke recently reported that a new midfielder is high on Spurs' transfer agenda.
However, fresh attacking options are continuously being linked on a regular basis. It is claimed that Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is a top target for Postecoglou, while rumours continue to surround Southampton starlet Tyler Dibling.
TalkSPORT reported earlier this week that Tottenham are leading the race to sign Dibling, who looks nailed on to leave St. Mary's Stadium given the Saints are destined for a drop back down to the Championship.
Now, according to reliable journalist Ben Jacobs, Spurs are growing more and more confident that they'll sway the teenager to N17.
Tottenham convinced Tyler Dibling is "sold" on joining Spurs
Writing for GiveMeSport, Jacobs claims that Tottenham are convinced Dibling is "sold" on joining Spurs, and they've already held talks with his camp ahead of a potential move in the summer.
The north Londoners also theorise that they could strike a deal for the 19-year-old at around £30-35 million given Southampton's relegation status, even if Ivan Juric's side public valuation is around £50 million.
Dibling, who's bagged four goals and registered two assists in 28 appearances across all competitions for Southampton this season, is widely regarded as one of the country's most exciting young talents.
Pundit Dion Dublin has likened the winger to Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer, with Danny Murphy also lavishing Dibling earlier in the campaign.
"The quality he has got - the belief in himself and the physical power," said Murphy. "He just goes past people with ease. He has got a lovely left foot. He is very brave on the ball and his decision-making is good. It is difficult to get too over the top with these young players, because he has just come on to the scene, but he is going to be something special.
"It is great for him getting all these minutes at Southampton. They are giving him the freedom to play and giving him time to learn the game.
"He is just enjoying himself and he is playing with a real belief in himself. He is just instrumental in this team."
