Manchester City have signed numerous players from fellow Premier League clubs over recent years.
In fact, City have secured the signatures of Mateo Kovacic, Jack Grealish and Matheus Nunes from various top-flight clubs during Pep Guardiola’s reign at the Etihad Stadium.
This current summer transfer window has seen the Manchester club being linked with several players from the top flight and across Europe.
Now though, some behind-the-scenes information has emerged regarding one player the Blues have on their transfer radar.

Both sides have been linked with a move for the Crystal Palace midfielder recently, with City even being mentioned with a move for him during the previous summer transfer window (via Daily Mail).
Eze would be an exciting signing for City
During his time at Palace, the midfielder, who reportedly has a release clause worth £60m according to the Daily Mail, has scored 26 goals and delivered 17 assists in 124 appearances across all competitions.
His previous Premier League campaign saw the 26-year-old rack up more shots on target (33), shot-creating actions (110) and carries into the penalty area (43) than any other player at the South London club.
Eze ultimately earned himself an impressive overall season rating of 7.45/10 from WhoScored, making him the sixth-highest-rated player in the entire division.
This highlights how much of an exciting signing the Englishman, who shared how much he admires Phil Foden during the 2024 European Championship, could be for City.
With Eze reportedly preferring a move to the Manchester club over Tottenham, we feel that this should convince City to launch a move for him in this window and make his wish come true.
