Tottenham are working up in its pursuit of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, aiming to strengthen their attack ahead of the new season.
According to TEAMtalk, Spurs are keen on signing the former England international and are preparing a substantial cash-plus-player offer to facilitate the transfer.
It has been recently reported that Spurs have already made contact with the player’s representatives, expressing a strong interest in signing him.
However, Spurs are not willing to pay his hefty £65m release clause and are said to be working hard to negotiate an alternate deal.
As per the report, the club are instead willing to offer Bournemouth £50m plus a player to entice them into agreeing on a deal.
Among the players they could be potentially offer include Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon, Oliver Skipp, Djed Spence, and Alejo Veliz.
Last season, Solanke’s exceptional form earned him a contract extension until 2027. His notable achievements included scoring his first senior hat-trick and winning the Premier League Player of the Month award for December. He scored 19 league goals and assisted 3, finishing as the league’s fourth joint top scorer.
Ange is said to be a fan of the player and is reportedly personally driving the move to sign him.
Whether Spurs can secure his signing before the start of the new season or not remains to be seen.
