Ange Postecoglou has rested some big names on his Tottenham side to take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
Spurs triumphed 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium in November, having already chalked up a 2-1 Carabao Cup round of 16 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in October. Now Postecoglou's side will be looking to complete the hattrick on the pitch in N17 and a victory for the Lilywhites would mean six victories and a clean sweep this season against the two sides from Manchester.
Postecoglou continues to be without Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Dominic Solanke, Richarlison and Ben Davies for the game, but everyone else is in contention following Saturday afternoon's 4-1 victory at Ipswich Town.
The Australian rested Pedro Porro and James Maddison for that match and both return, while Destiny Udogie and Brennan Johnson, who scored twice at Portman Road, continue but captain Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski and Djed Spence all take their turn on the bench. Wilson Odobert starts for the first time since the Carabao Cup game at Coventry.
Here's the Spurs team Postecoglou has selected to face Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Vicario; Porro, Danso, Gray, Udogie; Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Tel, Odobert. Subs: Kinsky, Reguilon, Spence, Sarr, Bissouma, Kulusevski, Werner, Son, Scarlett.
