It’s an all-London affair on Thursday night as Chelsea look to reclaim a top-four position when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, writes JOE CITRONE.

After wins for Manchester City and Newcastle United on Wednesday night, Chelsea have slipped out of the Champions League places and down to sixth-place in the Premier League table, but would leapfrog both with a win on Thursday.

The recent form of Enzo Maresca’s side has been patchy at best, though, losing three of their last six Premier League matches; which included a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in their most recent outing.

However, Maresca revealed some good news in his pre-match press conference by confirming that the trio of Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are back in contention to play after returning to training.

There are no two ways about it, Ange Postecoglou is under serious pressure as Tottenham boss after a really disappointing season, which currently sees Spurs sitting in 14th-position in the Premier League table.

It may already been too late for Postecoglou, with rumours already beginning to circulate about potential replacements for the Australian, but the best he can do is end this season strongly with Spurs and hope that’s enough for another crack at things.

A win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge would be the perfect place to start, but Spurs have lost their last three encounters with their city rivals; the most recent being a 4-3 defeat to the Blues earlier this season.

Chelsea’s last four matches in all competitions have been decided by just a solitary goal and in a derby match that could be tight and cagey, I am backing that run to continue here. At 14/5 with starsports.bet, I am backing Chelsea to win by exactly one goal.
