We are proud to be supporting Football vs Homophobia’s month of action at tonight’s Premier League match against Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Football vs Homophobia is a global campaign that aims to end discrimination and prejudice towards the LGBTQI+ community in football, by increasing visibility and creating more opportunities in the game.

The Proud Lilywhites - our Official LGBTQI+ Supporters Association - last year celebrated its 10th anniversary to coincide with the campaign. The group now includes more than 1,000 members globally and over the past year has been working with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation to deliver weekly football sessions in the local community for its members. We were delighted to profile the ‘Just Proud’ group’s sessions during the recent Rainbow Laces campaign in November.

The ONS reported in 2023 that hate crime on the basis of sexual orientation rose by 112% in a 5-year period and hate crimes against trans people had increased by 186%.

As a Club, we are proud to add our name to the list of Football vs Homophobia champions and will continue to promote equality and fight against discrimination in all forms. Throughout Football v Homophobia month and beyond, please help us by standing up to prejudice and discrimination against LGBTQI+ people in the game.
