Tottenham Hotspur are poised to finalise a first professional deal with the highly promising Mikey Moore.
According to The Atheltic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke, this contract, scheduled to be completed on Moore’s 17th birthday this Sunday, represents the most lucrative agreement the Lilywhites has ever offered to a 17-year-old. The record-breaking deal shows how highly the club value the teenager.
Sharing the update on X, he said:
“Tottenham agree first pro deal with Mikey Moore, due to be finalised on his 17th birthday on Sunday. More money than Spurs have offered a 17 y/o before. 3-year deal.”

Mikey Moore began his journey with Tottenham as an Under-9 player and has consistently advanced through the club’s youth system. During the 2022-23 season, he was a key player for the trophy-winning Spurs U17s and U18s teams.
Remarkably, Moore debuted for the U21s at just 15 years old, making him one of the youngest to do so. In June of last year, he signed a schoolboy contract with Tottenham, which will now transition into a professional deal on his 17th birthday.
In the U18 Premier League last season, the Englishman had a standout campaign, making 22 goal contributions in 12 games (14 goals and 8 assists).
Moore made his first-team debut for Tottenham earlier in May this year, in a Premier League match against Manchester City, becoming the youngest player in Spurs’ history to appear in the league at 16 years and 277 days.
Beyond his club achievements, Moore has also excelled internationally with England U17. At the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in May, he scored four goals and provided an assist in four appearances.
He has continued to impress Ange with his incredible performances in the pre-season this summer, leading to suggestions that he will play a significant role for the first-team in the upcoming season.
Tottenham Hotspur remains deeply committed to Mikey Moore’s development, recognising his immense potential and long-term value to the club.
