Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keen on signing the Club Brugge defender Maxim De Cuyper.

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on signing the 24-year-old full-back as well.

De Cuyper has been a key player for Club Brugge and his performances have been quite impressive for the Belgian club. Apart from his defensive qualities, he is quite good going forward and he could add a new dimension to the Tottenham attack. The player has provided 42 assists and 27 goals throughout his career and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

The opportunity to join a top Premier League club could be quite exciting for the defender. He is entering the peak of his career and he will want to compete at the highest level. The likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea will be able to provide him with that opportunity.

Tottenham will need to replace Ben Davies, who will be out of contract in the summer of 2025. De Cuyper could be the ideal acquisition for them.

Tottenham have recently sent scouts to watch the player in action and it remains to be seen whether they step up their pursuit with an official offer now. Arsenal and Chelsea have been scouting the player as well.

Similarly, Arsenal need a quality left-back who could be an upgrade on Oleksandr Zinchenko. As far as Chelsea are concerned, Marc Cucurella and Renato Veiga are not reliable performers and the Blues could use alternatives.

The 24-year-old could be a quality acquisition for all three clubs and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. The English clubs certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal across the line and it remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a reasonable fee with the Belgian club.
