Ange on how he deals with talk surrounding his future

I don't deal with it mate. I know what my responsibilities are. I'm sure if the club decides to go in a different direction there's some outstanding candidates out there for it. And you know what, maybe someone will think, 'Ah Ange Postecoglou's not a bad coach, maybe we'll take a punt on him'. It doesn't rock my world. It doesn't consume me. I'm here, I'm passionate about what we're doing. I was brought in to change the way the club plays, rejuvenate the squad, bring success, I'm focussed on that. That's what I'll keep doing.

Ange on if timing of the interview was disrespectful to him

Well, I don’t feel disrespected. I think if you ask Mauricio that question directly, you’d get a pretty clear answer as to what his intent was. Again, nothing from me to sort of be consumed with. I’m more focused on trying to make sure we win tomorrow night.

Ange on Romero playing for Argentina

Delighted if he can get through two games with his international team. It's great for us as he's not played a lot of football. Footballers need to play. Rather than him sitting around for two weeks, he needed games. I think you could see that with the performances he had before, especially the Fulham game by the 70th minute he was pretty much cooked in terms of his physical fitness. Things do look much better for Ange Postecoglou on the injury front right now and hopefully there will be a further boost to come.

It was a good weekend for a number of Tottenham's loan players.

Yang Min-hyeok and Alfie Dorrington in particular had weekends to remember after netting their first goals for QPR and Aberdeen respectively.

Others, however, struggled for minutes for their respective teams.
