Ange Postecoglou is speaking to the media following Tottenham's 2-1 win against Manchester City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.

Following the hugely disappointing 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend, the Spurs boss switched things about in regards to his team as he looked to secure a passage through to the fifth round of the competition.

Postecoglou opted to make a total of five changes to his team as Archie Gray, Radu Dragusin, Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur and Timo Werner all came in.

Werner was to have a huge say on the contest early on after opening the scoring on five minutes with an emphatic finish.

Spurs were then dealt a cruel blow not long after with Micky van de Ven having to make way with what appeared to be a hamstring injury but there was to be some joy on 25 minutes as Sarr doubled the lead.

City then reduced the deficit seconds before the half-time whistle with Matheus Nunes converting Savinho's cross at the far post.

Both sides had chances after the break but it was Spurs who won to take their place in the last eight.
