Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Manuel Locatelli from Juventus.
The 26-year-old Italian international is on the radar of the North London club and they are hoping to secure his signature.
As per JuveLive, Tottenham are ‘ready to offer’ £21 million for the midfielder and the report describes it as a ‘dream deal’ for the two clubs.
The midfielder has fallen down on the pecking order at the Italian club and he needs to move on in search of regular playing time. A move to the North London club would be ideal for him. It seems that Tottenham are looking to add more quality and depth to their midfield unit and the Italian international could prove to be a useful acquisition.
He has previously shown his quality in Serie A and at the international level. There is no doubt that he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League and it remains to be seen whether he can regain his confidence and sharpness with a move to Tottenham. He was heavily linked with a move to England a few years ago after he helped Italy win the Euros.
If he can recapture that level, he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham.
The North London club recently parted ways with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and they need someone who could add control and defensive cover to the side. The 26-year-old certainly fits the profile and it remains to be seen whether the North London outfit can get the deal done.
