Tottenham Hotspur keen on signing the AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara at the end of the season.

According to a report from TBR Football, they will face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea. All three Premier League clubs have been keeping tabs on 21-year-old midfielder, and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for him in the coming months.

Camara is highly rated across Europe, and he is considered as one of the brightest African talents right now. The Senegalese International is a tremendous prospect, and he could prove to be a quality long-term investment for the three English clubs.

The Ligue 1 star is a box to box midfielder, who will add a powerful presence to the Tottenham midfield. Apart from his ability to shield the back four and break down opposition’s attacking moves, he is equally good at driving the team forward. With his defensive acumen, physicality, and assured distribution, he has all the tools to develop into a complete midfielder.

Tottenham are in desperate need of a player with his skill set, and he could form a quality partnership with the likes of Pape Matar Sarr, Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur. The North London club have shown interest in signing talented young players and it seems that they are looking to build a formidable squad for the future. It is no surprise that they are keen on the 21-year-old African prodigy.

Liverpool & Chelsea keen on Camara

Liverpool could use a player with his skill set as well. They need a quality defensive midfielder to complement Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister. Camara would be the ideal addition.

Both Tottenham and Liverpool have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing young players and they could help the 21-year-old fulfil his potential.

Finally, Chelsea are keeping tabs on the talented young midfielder as well. However, they are well stocked in the defensive midfield department with Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. It remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for the Senegalese midfielder.
