Federico Chiesa has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer and Tottenham Hotspur have been mentioned as a potential destination.
It seems that more than one English club might be keen on signing the Italian international winger. The 26-year-old has attracted the attention of West Ham United and Fulham as well.
Chiesa scored 10 goals in all competitions and he could prove to be a quality addition for Tottenham, West Ham and Fulham. FIFA agent David Lavelle has claimed the player is valued at around €35 million and although Spurs move could be an option for the player, the North London club might not be willing to pay up.
Lavelle believes that West Ham and Fulham could be willing to pay up for the Italian this summer, but it would be difficult for them to convince the Serie A star.
He said to Bianconera News: “I mean, who among the big clubs has 35 million in the Premier League to buy him? It will be tough to sell him. Tottenham could be an option for Chiesa, but they have quite a few players in that position. However, I doubt they will pay 35,000,000.”
Chiesa is a top class player who will want to compete at the highest level. He will want to join big clubs capable of winning major trophies. It will be interesting to see if Spurs are willing to pay up.
The North London outfit could use more quality and depth in the wide areas. Chiesa will add goals and flair to the side. He will help create more goalscoring chances for his teammates and open up deep defences for his side.
The player is at the peak of his powers and he could transform Spurs in the attack. They will look to win major trophies in the coming season and they need quality reinforcements. Someone like Chiesa could be a superb option.
At €35 million, he could even prove to be a bargain if he can hit the ground running in the Premier League.
