Tottenham Hotspur have hinted James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Son Heung-Min will all play a part in their Europa League last-16 second leg against AZ Alkmaar.

All three started in Alkmaar last week before being named substitutes on Sunday for the Premier League match with Brentford. Bergvall and Son came on at half-time, with Maddison joining them on the hour mark.

The former assisted Pape Matar Sarr's goal to halve the deficit before Son won and scored a penalty to equalise late on to salvage a draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, only a win is enough this Thursday night, with Spurs needing at least a one-goal lead to force extra-time after losing in the Netherlands.

Hours before kick-off, the club's social media accounts shared a graphic - featuring Bergvall, Guglielmo Vicario, Maddison and Son. The goalkeeper has played every minute since returning in mid-February and seems sure to start again, leaving birthday boy Antonin Kinsky on the bench.

Should the other three start, Ange Postecoglou's team would look much like the one that started in Alkmaar. Mathys Tel was another player who began the first leg, but was on the bench for the Brentford game, and the Bayern Munich loanee has posted an individual matchday graphic on his Instagram story.

However, the winter transfer window loan signing was hooked at half-time last time out against AZ as he was replaced by Wilson Odobert. Tel was an unused substitute over the weekend, despite Bergvall, Destiny Udogie, Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Son featuring from the bench.

Much like his teammate, Maddison too has shared a matchday graphic on his Instagram story. The image is at the end of a video compilation showing the player scoring his only goal in Europe this season, during the penultimate league phase game away against Hoffenheim.
