The 24-year-old Spanish centre-back has impressed in Serie A this season, and Lazio are reportedly open to letting him leave for a fee in the region of €40-45 million (£34-38.5m).
With Romero linked with a move to Spain, Spurs are thought to be preparing for defensive reinforcements, and Gila’s profile appears to fit the bill perfectly.
