CaughtOffside reveal the fee it would take for Tottenham Hotspur to secure Georgiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Tottenham’s interest in Georgiy Sudakov

Sudakov is widely seen as one of the best young attackers in Europe and in light of his impressive displays in the Champions League this season, a number of clubs now appear to have their eye on his development.

This includes Tottenham, with Football Insider stating earlier this week that the Lilywhites are doing their ‘due diligence’ on the 22-year-old ahead of the January window.

A few days ago, TuttoJuve also confirmed Spurs’ interest in the Shakhtar man but they suggested that Ange Postecoglou‘s men will have to battle Arsenal for the player’s services.

How much would Sudakov cost?

CaughtOffside have now claimed that the race for Sudakov is heating up, with the two North London sides joined by Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa.

All these clubs have allegedly scouted the attacking midfielder this season and it is suggested that a bidding war may ensue for his services.

The outlet states that it would take a fee of around €65m (£54m) to convince the Ukrainian side to part ways with their star player.

January move or next summer?

The report suggests that many of these clubs might be plotting a move at the end of the season rather than during the winter transfer window.

The same information was also carried by the aforementioned report in Football Insider, which remarked that Shakhtar would make any deal difficult in January.
