Tottenham are interested in the services of RB Leipzig ace Lois Openda as they look for a new world-class forward.

Ange Postecoglou had a promising first season at the North London club and he is now looking to make the necessary changes to ensure they can take the next step. Spurs have already added Timo Werner, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall to their squad and now they are keen on signing a versatile forward this summer.

According to a report from Sky Sports, Tottenham are interested in signing Belgian forward Lois Openda.

The Australian manager wants to bring in a top-quality forward who can lead the line next season and allow Son Heung-min to feature on his preferred left flank. Spurs want a versatile attacker who can feature in other positions as well and the Belgian international has an impressive record having done well on the flanks as well as a number ten.

He arrived at RB Leipzig last summer and in his debut season in Germany, Openda scored 28 goals and he even bagged seven assists in his 45 outings. While all his appearances for the Bundesliga club came as a number nine, his ability to feature anywhere in attack and his goal-scoring record is why Tottenham are after his signature.

With four years still left on his deal at Leipzig, the North London club will have to fork out a significant amount to bring him to the Premier League. As a result, it will be interesting to see if they do end up making a move for him.
