Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Simon Adingra from Brighton and Hove Albion.

According to a report from HITC, Tottenham have made an enquiry for the 22-year-old Premier League attacker and they will face competition from Arsenal for his services.

The North clubs are keen on signing the Ivory Coast winger and it remains to be seen whether Brighton are prepared to consider a move for him.

Adingra had an impressive season with Brighton last season and he contributed toward seven goals and three assists in all competitions. It is no secret that Tottenham need to bring in attacking options this summer and signing a quality winger could prove to be a wise decision.

However, the North London have already signed Wilson Odobert from Burnley and it remains to be seen whether they are prepared to splash out on another winger.

Adingra will certainly be tempted to join a big club this summer and the opportunity to play for Tottenham or Arsenal will be quite attractive.

Arsenal need to add more quality and depth to their attacking unit as well. They have not been able to rotate players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka last season. They need more options so that they can shuffle their pack.

Spurs will be competing in the UEFA Europa league next season and they need a deeper squad in order to rotate their key players from time to time. It will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign Adingra in the remaining days of the window.
