Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has publicly refuted rumours suggesting his potential departure from the club.
This comes in response to a report by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, which claimed that Spurs had proposed a player-plus-cash deal to Newcastle United, involving Richarlison in exchange for their centre-forward, Alexander Isak.
Richarlison took to Instagram to address these claims, categorizing them as “fake news.”
He commented directly on a post reporting the alleged swap deal, making it clear that the rumours were unfounded.

These speculations surfaced as Tottenham actively seeks to bolster their attacking options by signing a new striker.
Di Marzio’s report suggested that the Lilywhites had included Richarlison in a player-plus-cash deal in an attempt to sign Isak.
Alexander Isak, the Swedish international, has been a key player for Newcastle since his high-profile £63 million move from Real Sociedad in August 2022.
He scored 21 goals in 30 Premier League appearances last season, placing him among the league’s top scorers.
Given Isak’s stellar performance and his long-term contract with Newcastle, the Magpies value him highly and are not keen on letting him leave.
Meanwhile, Richarlison, who joined Tottenham from Everton in July 2022 for £60 million, has had a challenging stint with the club, marked by injuries and inconsistent form.
Despite his potential, he has not fully met expectations at Spurs. With his contract extending until June 2027, Tottenham are said to be open to considering offers for the Brazilian forward.
However, the rumours of a swap deal with Isak have been unequivocally denied by Richarlison himself.
As Tottenham continue to explore options to strengthen their squad, fans and stakeholders will be watching closely to see how the transfer saga unfolds and what decisions will be made regarding Richarlison’s future at the club.
