Tottenham must make a compelling offer to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz.
The North London club are looking at ways to reinforce their squad ahead of next season. Ange Postecoglou is keen on adding more firepower to his attack as he looks to take the next step. Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz is one of the names on Tottenham’s wishlist and they did knock on the Spanish club’s door for his signature.
But, their approach for the 24-year-old has been turned down by Real Madrid who consider Diaz to be an integral part of their first team and according to a report from the Fichajes, Spurs will have to make an ‘irrefutable’ offer to sign the Moroccan international.
Tottenham are looking to add more quality to the final third, Postecoglou is keen on bringing someone who can make them more threatening going forward. Diaz could be a sensational signing for Spurs as he can compete with James Maddison for a place in the starting XI. The former Manchester City star is capable enough to feature on the flanks and he can even lead the line when needed.
Despite not being a regular starter at Real Madrid last season, the 24-year-old still finished with 12 goals and nine assists in just over 2,000 minutes of first-team football. Despite the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and the increase in competition for places, Diaz wants to stay at the club and fight for his place in the team, he has no intentions of leaving.
Los Blancos have rejected Spurs approach and they have made it clear that Diaz is not for sale. However, the report does suggest that an irresistible offer could change things.
