Tottenham Hotspur have been presented with the opportunity to sign Wilfried Zaha, the former Crystal Palace winger currently plying his trade at Galatasaray, according to HITC.
Spurs are actively seeking attacking reinforcements for the upcoming season and have already bolstered their forward line with the signing of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth for a deal worth £65m.
Despite this significant investment, the club reportedly remains in the market for further attacking options.
Zaha played for Crystal Palace for almost his entire career, making 458 appearances for them, and racking up an incredible 90 goals and 62 assists.
He left the club last summer to join Turkish giants Galatasaray where he netted 9 goals and provided 3 assists in 30 appearances.
Despite a decent first season, he is said to be wanting a return to England.
Tottenham are not the only one made aware of his desire to return to the Premier League. According to the report, other clubs including Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United, have all been informed and are also monitoring Zaha’s situation.
For Tottenham, bringing in the 31-year-old Ivory Coast international could be a strategic move, potentially offering a seasoned winger at a more manageable price.
If Zaha can recapture his best form, he could become a valuable asset in Spurs’ attacking lineup, providing the creativity and flair needed to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
