Football aficionados and exotic car buffs are in for a treat as England captain Harry Kane's limited edition Bentley Continental hits the market.
A steadfast performer - much like Tottenham hero Kane himself - the world-famous footballer has amassed an impressive collection of vehicles throughout his goal-scoring exploits and this particular Bentley Continental GT Supersports is more than just a set of wheels. Purchased by Kane in 2020 for over £200,000, he described it as "a beautiful, beautiful car."
This exclusive motor, one of only 710 produced, is now up for grabs at £70,000 on Auto Trader. Kane opted for a white finish to honour the hues of Tottenham - and England - complemented by sleek black 21-inch alloy wheels.
The car boasts opulent features such as massage-capable heated and ventilated seats, an electric rear spoiler, and an eight-speaker sound system, with 25,400 miles recorded. "It's not every day that a car such as this with such star appeal comes on to the market," Auto Trader's editorial director Erin Baker remarked.
"Kane's former Bentley Continental is a rare example of luxury craftsmanship, and with its celebrity connection, so it's sure to turn heads."
Baker anticipates significant interest on their platform, which sees over 80 million visits monthly, predicting the unique vehicle will draw the gaze of football enthusiasts and car connoisseurs. The narrative around Kane is certainly revving up as he gears up for Monday's World Cup qualifier clash against Latvia, marking the start of Thomas Tuchel's stint as coach.
After transferring from Tottenham to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, Kane was entitled to an Audi, as per the German heavyweight's sponsorship deal. He opted for a sleek black Q8 e-tron valued at £58,000, aligning with the tradition that Bayern players drive Audis to training and match days.
Kane isn't new to luxurious rides; his garage has seen the likes of a £100,000 Range Rover and a modest £35,000 Jaguar F-Pace. The Bentley Continental GT Supersports became his pride and joy five years prior, only to find out that now-former teammate Dele Alli had made the exact same luxury purchase.
At the time, Kane expressed his thrill for sports cars: "I thought I'd treat myself to a sports car and I was looking at most of them really, but because I play golf I wanted something with a bit of room, nothing too low, something a bit different."
"They are only making 710 of them. I've gone for white with black wheels. It's a beautiful, beautiful car. It's my first real sports car. Down the line, maybe if I win a few trophies, I can treat myself to a Ferrari or a Lamborghini."
