Alfie Devine has now spoken about his experiences in the Liverpool academy as a youngster, revealing what happened when he got a glimpse of the first-team stars.
One of Tottenham’s most promising youngsters
While the likes of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear are the ones who have hogged the limelight at Tottenham of late, Devine is also very highly thought of at Hotspur Way, seen by many as a future first-team prospect.
While Spurs secured the young attacking midfielder from the Wigan Athletic Academy back in 2021, the youngster was with Liverpool before that.
Being born in Warrington, a town 19 miles east of Liverpool, he was picked up by the Reds at quite a young age, remaining in their youth set-up until eleven years of age.
